Dermaplaning: 35 mins @ €40
Dermaplaning removes the outer most layers of dead skin cells, leaving the skin immediately smooth, supple and vibrant. It is a non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation.
It is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the skin and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). According to common beauty lore, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, and Cleopatra all shaved their faces.
Although merely an old wives’ tale, many patients are often concerned that the hair will grow back heavier and darker after Dermaplaning. This is not the case. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment. Any thicker, darker terminal hair should be waxed/tweezed before planning.
Removing epidermal skin also allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers. Many aestheticians recommend this treatment to prepare the skin for other procedures such as laser treatments or deep chemical peels.
Dermaplaning is most often used on clients with rough, dry skin, superficial hyperpigmentation, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance.

How does it work?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive procedure similar to shaving in which a therapist uses a sharp surgical, sterile blade to gently scrape the outer layers of dead, dull skin cells. After exfoliating with Dermaplaning, the skin is left smoother and, with continued treatments, fine lines are significantly minimised.
What can clients expect?
First, the therapist will cleanse and thoroughly dry the skin. Next, they will pull an area of the skin taut with one hand, and hold a sterile 10-gauge blade at a 45-degree angle in the other hand and use short, swift strokes to scrape off dead skin cells and peach fuzz.
There is no downtime associated with this procedure. Clients may have some redness for a while. Some peeling may occur if the treatment has been followed by an exfoliating peel.
How many treatments will I need?
As many as you want! Once clients have one treatment, they return for future treatments as they love the ‘hair free’ look and feel
